Dr. Rapaport was Board Certified in Clinical Psychology
after completing her doctorate education at LSU Medical School and
Auburn University. Her training encompassed work with people from
all walks of life, in private practice, non-profit and county agencies,
hospital and prison environments. She has conducted numerous psychotherapy
groups and has worked with adults, couples, adolescents, children
and families.
Dr. Rapaport has written numerous articles on psychology for newspapers
and had her own psychology and music columns in Via magazine of
Delray Beach. Her areas of specialization include psychotherapy
for mood disorders, traumatology, addictions, and medical disorders.
She has treated adults, teens and children suffering with features
of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder throughout 20 years of clinical
work. In addition, she conducts psychological, marital and neuropsychological
evaluations. Presently, she is completing a book on relationships,
addiction, and psychospirituality.
